How to ask
Email hello@raceambiancefx.com within 14 days of your purchase. Include the email address you bought with, or your licence key. That is the whole process. You do not have to explain why, and you will not be talked out of it.
What happens next
- The refund is issued through Paddle, who processed the payment as merchant of record. It returns to the card or account you paid with.
- Paddle typically settles a refund within a few business days, though your bank may take longer to show it.
- Your licence key is revoked at the same time, and the plugin stops driving your lights. That is what being refunded means.
Try it before you buy it
Race Ambiance FX includes a free trial of 300 minutes of use. That is several race nights, long enough to know whether it works with your game, your hardware and your room. The refund window exists as a backstop, not as the way to evaluate the plugin.
After fourteen days
Requests outside the window are not automatic, but they are read by a person rather than a policy. If the plugin stopped working through no fault of yours and could not be fixed, say so and it will be dealt with fairly.
Chargebacks
Please ask for a refund before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback costs more, takes longer for you, and revokes the key automatically. An email gets you the same money back faster.
Your statutory rights
Depending on where you live, consumer law may give you cancellation or refund rights beyond this policy. Nothing here reduces them. Paddle, as merchant of record, handles the obligations that come with being the seller.
